 Dr.
Ritu Khare is a General and Gastrointestinal Surgeon with over
14 years experience in Hepatopancreatobiliary and Advanced Laparoscopic
Surgery. Having been trained extensively in gastrointestinal
surgery, she has had an edge over others to evaluate and successfully
operate on patients with chronic pancreatitis, biliary strictures
and other benign hepatic or pancreatic problems.
Until recently, Dr. Ritu has been working with a private sector
healthcare provider. Taking advantage of the huge patient turnover
at this hospital, she has done more than a thousand laparoscopic
procedures including cholecystectomies, appendectomies, hernia
repairs, and various gynaecological procedures.
Being a female surgeon, she has always been preferred by patients
for examination of breast related complaints and perianal disorders.
Dr Ritu is married to a gastroenterologist husband who has always
encouraged and supported her in her surgical work and achievements.

| Dr. Ritu is academically active and has been
presenting her surgical work in healthcare meetings like Arab
Health Congress and other forums regularly for the past few
years. She has won the best paper award at the Annual Abu Dhabi
Surgical Meeting in 2006. She also has a number of presentations
and publications in reputed medical journals to her credit.
Currently she is the General Secretary of the Emirates Society
of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (ESLES.) |
